Texas Sky

The other day we were driving around Frisco just before going over to a friend's house and this is what we saw.



These were taken from the car so they don't give the sky justice. The clouds looked like a painting, with brush strokes. We had to stop and look for a little bit. Man, I love Texas!

Lucy Tricks

Here is Lucy and all of her cuteness. She is learning how to stand and hold onto things. She can't pull up yet but she working on the muscles. She is really good at sitting now. She also loves to eat. She is getting better at it but still needs work. It always ends up on her face. She has a tendency to get so excited she will dive bomb the spoon and get it in her nose, eyes, ears, you name it its been there. I also love how cute she is when she comes out of the bath. We are not a fan of bath time pictures so this is as close as you will get. I love her turtle face. That upper lip is soo cute! 'Til next time and her new tricks!

Lucy's Trip

I spent a week with Lucy in Rexburg so that all of the family could see her. She got to meet her great grandma and grandpa. They were so delighted to see her. Even though she was definitely not on her best behavior. I felt so bad she would cry and scream every time G. Grandma Archibald held her. She also had lots of fun playing with her aunts and uncles and her grandma and grandpa Broughtons. I also finally caught her rolling over on video. Believe me it was hard to do!

Julie's Wedding

The last week of January Dave, Lucy and I went to Rexburg, ID. We went to see Julie get married. It was so much fun. I love weddings. I love the spirit that we feel at the temple and all of the fun at the reception. Julie and Eli's wedding was beautiful. She looked gorgeous in her dress. They looked so happy together. I just loved it all!!  Even Lucy got dressed up for the occasion.  She was so cute and had a blast as well.

This is not the best quality because of the lighting, but it captures a great memory.

My Goal

Some exciting news, I made a goal to lose a certain amount of weight left over from my pregnancy and if I did I could get an iPod touch. I am glad to say I did it!!! I plan on losing more but I just thought this would be a good way to get me motivated and on my path. So here goes nothing!
