Easter

Lucy had her first easter!

She got lovely dressing from her grandparents, however it was cold so she only got to wear them to church and then come home and put layers on! Here are some pictures from the ward easter party. Dave participated in an easter relay. Lucy loved picking up the eggs, opening, closing and playing with their insides. She couldn't walk or crawl for them, but once I found one she just picked it up and played. I think it was a quite successful first easter.

Her tooth has finally broke through and I think it is due to her favorite toy of the week.

As you know we are moving, Lucy found this box and could not get enough of it. She would smack the baby in the face over and over again. She would also specifically roll for the box! I love my crazy girl!

Books

Lately I have been practicing my arts and crafts skills. Here is my recent project. I ended up sending it to my grandparents for their birthday. It was a lot of fun to make, but it took way longer than I thought it would!

The Biter Biscuit

I have been giving Lucy biter biscuits to practice her hand to mouth action. She gets so messy, but I love watching her make a mess of herself. She is always really excited too. She like to do a babble/scream to communicate.

Lucy and Kellen

The other day I got to watch the cutest little boy. His name is Kellen. He is about a month younger than Lucy but they are practically the same size. It was fun watching the two of them interact. They would try to hold hands, take each other's pacifiers, pass a ball back and forth. It was great. I am glad Lucy knows how to play nice!

The House

So Dave and I have been looking for a house for quit some time now. Back in October we found one, put an offer down, told everyone, and then had it fall through. Needless to say, we took a very different approach this time around. For instance we kept it a secret from everyone until it appraised. Keeping it a secret was really hard. Especially when people would ask "Are you looking for a house?" AAAHH I hate having to skirt around questions, so I apologized to everyone I gave the run around to. But it is finally happening! We are moving into a house. Things were just too perfect to pass up - the tax credits, rates, you name it - it was in our favor. We close on the 23rd and plan on moving in that weekend. Dave's Dad is even going to fly in and help because he is just as excited as we are (thanks Steve)!

Well here are the stats on the house:
4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths
2600 sq ft
2 stories
Room to grow!

It is located in Frisco, basically off of Legacy and Main. So that means Dave has a straight shot to work on the Tollway. (No more 635!!!!!)
I love the neighborhood. It has a community pool, park, and playground. Also the elementary school, high school, and church building are within walking distance!

We will be very sad to leave our ward. We love them so much. We will miss everyone! The time has just finally arrived for us to depart. We need to get out of apartments and into a house where Lucy can have a yard to play in and a room that is hers not also the storage closet, craft room, guest room!

Here are some pictures our realtor took:

View From the Street

Backyard

Master Bedroom

Kids Bathroom

Game Room At the Top of the Stairs

Living Room

Kitchen

Dining Room

There is a lot more to the house, but I thought if we put all the pictures on it would be excessive. If you want to see more you will just have to come on over! We love visitors!!
